Incentives, search and structure
We intend to investigate if incentives shape search behavior throughout 50 rounds of the Alien Game. Prior studies have failed to show a relation between distant search behavior and incentives, but these studies were carried out in an unstructured task environment, that inhibited learning about the underlying task structure. In this version we present participants with a structured task environment, that in theory enables learning. Based on this setup we can compare search behavior in a structured and unstructured (NK) task environment.
