-President Trump saw his approval ratings take another dive to 37 percent in the latest Gallup poll and has become the only president since such polling began during the Eisenhower administration to see a negative net approval rating change by this point in his first term. -Staying on President Trump, a drifter recently made it over the White House fence and wandered the grounds for sixteen minutes before the Secret Service apprehended him. The guys ponder the state of White House security and wonder just how easy it would be for a terrorist to make 'White House Down' a reality. -The President's meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday was not what you'd call a smash hit. Not only do we not know what was discussed during the meeting, but Trump's body language essentially showed that he was closing Merkel out of the conversation. -The liberal magazine, Mother Jones, has done something amazing and thoroughly debunked the great "Meals on Wheels" scandal. It turns out that what appeared to be an extremely harsh quote by White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney was actually cut from two different segments of a discussion he was having about the issue of social welfare programs. So, are 6000 senior citizens in every major city going to go hungry? The answer is no. -This year's Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Philadelphia have been cancelled due to recent concerns surrounding immigration. Pat and Stu ponder whether this means that there are a lot of illegals in the city and discuss what the people fear the Trump-led government might do. In short, this is not a nation of 175,000 people, so a couple hundred illegal immigrants being detained should not be alarming. -Netflix will switch from a star rating to a ‘Thumbs-up” rating for its programming. This move is supposed to drive up ratings by 200 percent, and the guys wonder exactly what this will mean for one Amy Schumer... -A mother and a son are becoming father and daughter together... No Pat, we do not need to care about this, but we also don't need to avoid expressing shock at the whole situation...
